Note: A Linux system can become a Cisco Trusted Device only if meets the following criteria:
- Running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or 24.04 LTS
- The drive is fully encrypted
- Running the GNOME display manager
- Secure Boot is Enabled in BIOS
We do not support Ubuntu variants such as Kubuntu and Xubuntu, or derivatives such as
Linux Mint and PopOS

to reload your system so it can become a Cisco-Trusted Device
- Log into your Cisco Ubuntu system and connect to Wi-Fi
- If you are on a Cisco site, click here for instructions to connect to "internet"
- On your Cisco Ubuntu system, open a web browser and type
https://itsetup.cisco.com
into the address field
- Note: You must type the
https://
in the address
- Click Cisco Laptop
- Click Part 2
- Follow the steps on your Ubuntu laptop to complete your setup
