Ubuntu Requirements




Note: A Linux system can become a Cisco Trusted Device only if meets the following criteria:

We do not support Ubuntu variants such as Kubuntu and Xubuntu, or derivatives such as Linux Mint and PopOS

If your system does not meet these requirements, click here for instructions to reload your system so it can become a Cisco-Trusted Device


  1. Log into your Cisco Ubuntu system and connect to Wi-Fi

    • If you are on a Cisco site, click here for instructions to connect to "internet"
  2. On your Cisco Ubuntu system, open a web browser and type https://itsetup.cisco.com into the address field

    • Note: You must type the https:// in the address
  3. Click Cisco Laptop
  4. Click Part 2
  5. Follow the steps on your Ubuntu laptop to complete your setup
